Delayed Mani Monday: Pink and Orange

Well Hello Everybody,

Sorry about this delayed Mani Monday. But today I created a manicure that would be great for spring and summer. So, let's hop right in.


First step

Start with a base coat I am using Essie All in one base. 

Then paint your nails with your chosen colour. I am using Essie Off The shoulder from the 2012 summer collection. But you could use any colour you want. Make sure you paint your nails with two coats.

Now let your nails to fully dry for a couple of hours. 

Once your nails are fully dried then place a bit of tape on half of your ring finger and paint your nail a different colour. I used Essie Fear or Desire also from the 2012 summer collection. 

Then finally put your top coat on I am using Jessica Quick Dry. 

And there you have it. 

A nice and easy manicure.

Spring Post

Hi Guys,

So, today I decided to do a blog post talking about my favourite things for spring.
Even though it does not feel like spring, it is official spring. So let's start. I got a few questions from miss glamorazzi's I love Spring Tag Video, you should go and check her out. Anyway let's hop right in:

1. Favourite spring nail polish ?

I am going to say that my favourite Spring nails polish is Essie "Off the Shoulder". I think it's a really lovely colour. I also like some other nail polishes that I do not yet own and they are Butter London -"Fruit Machine", "Kerfuffle", "Molly Coddled" and "Fiver". I love all those colours. I thing that they are all great for spring

2. What is your must have Lip Colour this spring ?

I think that my favourite lip colour is a nice berry coloured lipsticks. I also like Revlon Lip Butters. I know lots of people love them and I have not got round to trying them yet.

3 What is your favourite spring dress?

Well my favourite spring dress is:

This is my favourite dress. It is a Zara dress that I got for my birthday, which I love so much because you can dress it up by adding a blazer and some wedges or you can wear it with flip flops and sunglasses. 

4.What are your favourite spring flowers ?

Well I thing I would say that my favourite flowers are tulips. I really like them. 

5. Favourite spring scarf or accessory ?

I love scarfs and jewellery.  I have to say that my favourite are this:

The scarf is from Kurt Geiger, the peter pan collar is made by me and the pink neckless was given to me as a gift.

6. What spring trends are you most exited about this year ? 

I think that my favourites spring trends are the pastel colours. I love pastel colours and I think that pastel nail polish, clothes, shoes are really in.

7. Favourite spring candle ?

I love fruity and floral smells, so I will have to go with Yankee Candles Pink DragonFruit.

8. Favourite body spray/perfume for spring ?

My favourite perfume is my Jo Malone Wild Bluebell Perfume. I think it is really soft and floral. I love it.

9. What is spring like where you live ?

Well spring is a time when the flowers start to come out and the trees blossom. I really love spring, but I am really not liking the cold we are having. I am hoping that the weather will get better in April. 

10 What it your favourite thing about spring?

I love  spring because of the warm weather and the trees blossom. I also like the fashion in spring. 

11 Are you spring cleaning ?

Well I think I will spring clean my Bedroom and reorganise my room. 

12 Any plans for spring break or an upcoming vacations?

Not really going anywhere, but I will be seeing my friends and relaxing. Nothing much.
